The Chinese Domain Name Scam That Could Cost You $1476!!!

This scam is probably the best example of making someone buy something they never wanted in the first place – and frankly I am surprised it took this long to get to me. These guys send you an email and try to tell you that someone in China wants to register your .com domain name, as .cn, or .net.cn, or .org.cn. And then proceed to send you a pricing form selling each domain name at $38.80/yr, with a 5yr minimum registration length. Oh Boy!
