Hi Jennifer, thank you for support. I have a question, what is the meaning of letter "S" that is in the last of this sentence? Humans have been burning fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gas ever since the Industrial Revolution began in the 1800s.
As you know I translated that and I have known that means century, but why that especially letter "S"? thank you

    Dear Teacher JenniferESL,

A very good video lesson. The explanations are very clear and detailed. Besides, I get to know the mistakes that native and non-native English speakers commonly make. As a keen viewer of your video lessons, may I take the liberty to say that they have the informational, instructional and cultural aspect. In general, they are an effective learning tool.

To conclude, a good linguistic teacher and a promising model. The way you teach is enough to turn a million heads.

Looking forward to other video lesson soon.

    Enjoy your weekend !

    With kindest regards,
    Fazil

Hello Jennifer. I have a question. πŸ™‚ When we link the voiceless "th" sound to the voiced "th" sound or vice versa, we don’t change the position of our tongue before making the second "th" sound, right?

For example when I say "Start with the first one", after making the "th" sound in the word "with", without changing the position of my tongue, I should immediately make the "th" sound in the word "the", right?
I mean I should keep my tongue between my teeth when there is a voiceless "th" sound and there is a voiced "th" sound after it or vice versa, am I right? After making the first "th" sound, without any change in the position of the tongue between the sounds, I should immediately make the second "th" sound, shouldn’t I?
