Nice Video The CSS Boss 🙂
Need help with this issue please update your video
I think you can use a robots.txt to tell search engines to ignore the second domain to get around the duplicate content issue.
Very informative…wondering if you felt safe?
The most original place for doing tutorial video ever 😀
NEXT LEVEL: Highway 🙂
i tried this and it is just redirecting to the main domain name
Thank you for a good hint on how to set multiple domains. Of course as said in earlier comments, Google might not like this but I think there are workarounds and it’s pretty convenient for example to have one instance of WP and under one domain have some company info and under other just the blog. That’s my plan at least 😉
Keep up great work @cssboss
Hey Thanks Boss…Great info. This seems like a workable fix but I was wondering if there was another way to do this that won’t piss of the search engines and possibly get ranking penalized for setting up that you know of? Any recommendations?
Dude, you are way over my head. Consider a tutorial for beginners. You are clicking all over the place because you know your stuff. But you lost me very quickly.
Hi,
Works great but on the second domain my header isn’t displaying right. I’m using Gantry which uses style override rules you can apply in the dashboard and it seems to be ignoring some of the custom CSS I have in there on the added domain.
ANy workaround you can think of?
Thanks,
Bob
thanks for the tutorial just what i was looking for 🙂
This helped! thank you!
nice tuto! =)
Thanks a lot for a very useful video! May I ask – do you have to have the same hosting or both domains? And do you have to register the "new" domain anywhere in WordPress beforehand?
I want to change the name of my blog, but I don’t want to lose all the links to my blog, so I’ll just keep the old domain – and add the new one. That’s why I ask 🙂
Pefect! Thank you so much! 🙂
Just a side note…you probably don’t want to do this if you value google organic search engine rank. Google has historically penalized rank for "duplicate content." Google "google multiple domains same content" to see what I mean.
hello there, very useful video, however its not working, i did exactly how you instructed and the second domain is still not plugged into my site, can you please help me? Thanks
This is awesome, but I see the plugin is a few years old. Do you know of another that is more current that does the same thing? It’s exactly what I need. Thanks!
Hello, Can you show how to Setting Up Multiple Domains To One WordPress, It mean when I post on A website to auto to B website like cssboss.com and 421entertainman.com, Thanks
Does this serves to wpml?
Thank you for taking the time to create this. A bit "clicky" but incredibly helpful. Question: can you setup multiple domains to run an eCommerce store from your already set up WordPress page? Explain: I have my personal brand website (on WP) and separate domain store website (currently hosted elsewhere and it sucks). I will like to merge both to manage through WordPress. Meaning, I’d like to just have a link to my online store within my brand website, but this store will have it’s own domain name, different from my brand domain. Gobbledygook, but hope you can help me!
sucks! destroys my site.
it doesn’t work anymore 🙁
Can you have multiple domains and different pages home pages for the different urls?
should i use a cname or a record first for the secondary domain names

This don’t work brother.
how to do this on latest WP version .. i have same requirement ..
Really great tutorial clear and concise and from your car !! Too cool
Doesnt work for me 🙁
Super Cool Video ….Sean UK
I think am missing something here. Does this mean both domains should have the same nameservers?? My domains are all from different providers and hosted with a different provider as well
You know the subject matter really well. However consider doing future demo’s out of your car. It’s distracting, for a close friend OK-but not the world. Thx.
Hi i tried to add another domain but its not working the plugin gives me a syntax error, could you please help me?
Is there another plugin that does the same?
Thanks
Multiple Domain plugin very simple
