Hi Darren! Great video!
If there’s #1 tutorial here in youtube about explanation of port forwarding, it could be this. Thanks for your time and effort on doing these.
An access list can be used for the same.

You need to mention that for servers the ip has to be static

Great video
And segment(s) on security
U have ports and port protocols numbers video?
A very good video for beginners. In many occasions, these kind of technical explanations are done by experts who would assume their readers to already know the most fundamental concepts, leaving a lot of question marks for those who want to understand fully. But this is so well done that you understand the concepts quite thoroughly.
Really helpful. Thank you.
Great explanation. Thank you.
Very Nice, Man!
more pls
I have a Huawei modem/router like this but it always cuts out with CPU utilization at 100%. Can I connect a good router and use DMZ to solve the problem? I wanted to make the Huawei a bridge but I read it will break the VOIP.

This is a great channel straight to the point clear explanations
So let’s say I want control my friend’s desktop from my computer. The device I’m using to use port 3388 has their own private internal (is this redundant?) IP address which when it reaches the router gets disguised by the NAT. How does the end route’s router know what is my external IP address when it has been disguised by NAT? I hope I worded this well.
this essential for those who want to learn ethical hacking
Your tutorials are the best!
One of the best technical video made simple I have seen. Quote from Albert Einstein – " If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough." Great video. God bless you. Thanks
It’s one thing to have theory, but to see the purpose of all of the technical jargon we learn in Networking class demonstrated is a true blessing! Thank you for these videos.
Thank you sir ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ I’m slow leamer I don’t understand concepts easily , Ur helping me lot /.. I will never forgot Ur channel . My foundation channel
Wonderful job, mate!
Great video explanation! Port forwarding makes sense now. I remember having to do it for games back in the day.
excellent
Thanks very clear, I used think, IP used identify individual machine in the internet.
I have never seen such a beautiful explanation, I watch your videos with great pleasure. Really quality work. Thank you so much…
Thank you so much for this, this gave me the knowledge needed to set up a Minecraft server.
First you should point out that once you identify the IP address of your Router you will need an ID and Password to access its internals before you can modify any parameters.
Second you should point out that if you want to Port Forward to a device then that device should be setup with an internal static IP address. If the device does not have a static IP address and gets its IP address from DHCP there is no guarantee it will keep that same IP address and the port may be routed to the wrong device.
Third you should point out that when some processes use a specific non changeable port and need to be sent to different machines this will not work with a simplistic port forwarding table which only has one destination.
Fourth you should point out that the second port column was so that that one port number can be forwarded to a different port number on a specified IP device. This is unusual as normally the same port number is used.
Phone extension is the best
If my PC has a public IP address, why should I use port forwarding??

Your videos are outstanding. I appreciate you.
How about servers? Need same explanation
Please make a video on printers, WSD vs TCP/IP port, how to assign static IP, why they go offline, etc Thanks. By the way, port forwarding is not the preferred method for scammers to take over your computer.
