Nameservers in DNS – What are…
Nameservers are the database servers that store and provide your DNS information for Internet clients. You Domain Registrar sends your DNS configurations to the nameservers.
Generally you use the nameservers provided by your ISP, but may change them if you are required to by a cloud platform, or if you have the need to manage your own nameservers.
eli gives zero fucks
Very well explained. Thanks.
Eli never replies!!!😣
Just FWIW, with shared hosting, I’ve never given an IP out to a registrar, only nameservers. The only place where there is an IP is at the nameserver, where the hosting company gives out an IP.
Why why why eli… why u r doing tutorial again
Excellent video.
If your name server is provided by Cloudflare, you can change it if you don’t like being affiliated with amoral companies that provide services to terrorists and totalitarian governments.
Thank you for teaching again.
Hi Eli. if i install cwp on centos7 and want to manage my dns through that panel, do i create glue records with the dns nameservers from cwp and add them to my domain registrars custom nameservers? or is it the other way around? thanx
Hey Eli what is the headset you are using? It has a good mic…
Nothing worse than some guy sits in front of a camera and talks the whole time and shows nothing in a video medium.
Thank you so much!
Really appreciate you folks. We need more independent teachers
Crystal clear…. solved a great confusion!!! Thanks

THANK YOU MAN BIG TIME HELP
Thanks man
thank you for this
You are champ in explaining things
hey eli can u teach us serverless
Big fan of your sir. Thanks for sharing all these info.
Thanks ELI!! 👍
Thank you so much!!!!!
Hi Eli, thanks for this video. Quick question, if there are several dns servers but one ip how can you access a specific dns server? @Eli the Computer Guy
DNS and name servers are the cause of any and all network issues….
I think u forget a reason.. there are webhostings coupled with integrated SSL service (free) , so if u have a external domain registerd elsewhere u have to change the nameserver to the webhosting to get also https on that domain
You have really simplified it for a dummy like me. Thank you!
Thanks so much Eli been following your channel for 5 years now
Is there a way to use a NS record and a Cname record at the same time?
Hi sir
Any video on task scheduler in detail as I am looking for tasks to run automatically at scheduled time which will help me in reducing some man-hours
Definitely glad to see new stuff! I’ve always loved your videos.
You can put in more than two name servers. For example: AWS Route 53 suggests four.
thank you that was really clear
