Hahaha, it’s got its appeal doesn’t it.

  2. Isaac X on October 20, 2021 at 9:24 am

Every single package I’ve gotten in the past year has been heavily abused by every shipping company.

  3. lemon Brothers on October 20, 2021 at 9:25 am

37:00 what a grimm note to end on, what would you prefer starve to death or evaporate after a nuclear blast hmm

  4. Tweedle on October 20, 2021 at 9:26 am

So last night (oct 13th) LTT’s channel ‘Techlinked’ did their news piece and it had a segment about EU saying that even SOFTWARE has a RIGHT TO REPAIR!!!! So if that were true then these guys wouldn’t be doing ANYTHING WRONG!!! – It’s a bit much imo… fixing software and the right to decompile/recompile??? idk, but in THIS CASE it would be a great thing…
HOPEFULLY you guys report on the SAME THING ‘next week’ 🙂

  5. T19R0N on October 20, 2021 at 9:27 am

    great episode as always

36:59 Glitch in the Matrix! They changed something…

  7. Dave Webster on October 20, 2021 at 9:30 am

Squid game is great and it’s not like other Korean shows I’ve seen.
    It’s worth a watch.

  8. Colonel Folgers on October 20, 2021 at 9:30 am

I love how quickly you get into the news. Maybe save the drink reviews for the end for those who want to stick around?

  9. Δce on October 20, 2021 at 9:31 am

There is no climate change crisis… you two gentlemen are smart enough to figure that shit out! c’mon!

  10. G H on October 20, 2021 at 9:32 am

36:58 to 37:02 Was that a glitch in the Matrix? What did YouTube just change?

Rockstar has no good will about GTAV. They ruined it.

  12. The EpicSlayer7 SSS on October 20, 2021 at 9:36 am

that part at 37:00 was like the deja vue of the Matrix! tho that Facebook outage definitely exposed some problems with the entire company and IoT! the badges and the Occulus are quite an obvious alarm. nobody wants to buy E-waste and the Occulus just showed that it was, the badge thing showed exactly what is wrong with IoT other than potential hacks, it plainly not working.

  13. Dan Simms on October 20, 2021 at 9:37 am

Take2 should be hiring these modders, not destroying their dreams.

  14. Gameaholic1337 on October 20, 2021 at 9:39 am

Positive thinking is hit or miss but negative thinking works very well. I don’t think we neccessarily have to Thanos nuke everyone or render a generation infertile just for the species to survive. Remember it’s just a small group of corporations and individuals polluting the environment and lootimg the natural resources like they’re sacking Rome. New paradigms can be formed around regenerative farming, clean energy, natural medicine, decentralization, etc. Point out hypocrisy, shine light on corruption and spread truth fast, far, and wide. You do good job with this show. Keep up the good work. Don’t lose hope. Like Tupac said, "Keep Ya Head Up".

  15. Jon W on October 20, 2021 at 9:39 am

I wanted to mention something but first I want to preface it first. I agree with a lot of the anti-corporate mentality, having been personally screwed over by a few corporations that I worked for or interacted with over the years. I have a Valve Index VR setup and the warranty is only 1 year; so one of the lighthouses (the satellite sensors) suddenly stopped working one day with the red right of death (*cough* flashing red light). I thought I was screwed but figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask Valves support for suggestions. I had a very brief like 4-5 message conversation where they had me attempt very basic troubleshooting things and obtain information, and then just sent me a new one to replace it (had to ship old one back, but only after they sent the new one, and they did this without my asking). Not sure if they have a known issue with the early lighthouses and they are preempting a recall by just honoring any support requests, or if this is just the mentality at valve, but it was a low hassle support AFTER the warranty had expired (by several months). Mind, I have pre-ordered one of the larger capacity Deck’s as well. With that in mind, I’m willing to give Valve the benefit of the doubt, but who knows what will happen after Gabe retires.

  16. lemon Brothers on October 20, 2021 at 9:39 am

1:30 yup, I already own the originals, won’t pay more than the originals cost me to get bad remasters

  17. bluephreakr on October 20, 2021 at 9:44 am

Depending on perspective, enforcing registration to do _anything_ could be seen as a pro-user thing. _Sure_ you can say it’s anti-user to tack that onto the OS but then you can’t say it _isn’t_ anti-user to *use Steam* in the same breath because of lax offline play features which make it nigh-on-impossible to have fun without a solid Internet connection.

  20. Tom B on October 20, 2021 at 9:47 am

I’m an old-guy & can barely use gmail & YouTube. Butttt I decided to watch CataclymDDA gaming on this new-fangled platform called Twitch or something.
The player of the game was pretty good ; had a humor dryer than the sahara desert ; mentioned his cat ; was a kentuckian ; etc ; etc.
Sooooooooooooooo if he’s one of the ‘bald’ host on your Level1Techs show, pls ask him to change to a new CataclysmDDA spite tile set so I can more easily follow the darn game (instead of an stone-age ASCII tile set).

  22. Wendall Johnson on October 20, 2021 at 9:49 am

Let’s be real that lady is a corporate shill not a whistleblower. Any whistleblower I’ve ever heard of is either now living in another country, in prison, or dead.

  23. Charles Hughes on October 20, 2021 at 9:51 am

Newer Cisco platforms like NX-OS and IOS-XR have the commit confirmed feature you mention, just not classic IOS.

  24. SimGunther on October 20, 2021 at 9:51 am

29:22 The first whistleblower (Frances Haugen) worked for Google and Pintrest before moving on to FB. Why wouldn’t she just blow the whistle for ALL of the companies she’s worked for???

Wasn’t going to watch Squid Game but they took the time to dub over with English and that, I think made it bearable at first. After the first episode it turned out very interesting. Recommend

  27. Ken on October 20, 2021 at 9:54 am

I have Windows 11 installed and win-get runs perfectly fine without signing into an account. Maybe because you created your local account with a Microsoft account rather than a local account?

  28. Pedro_ on October 20, 2021 at 9:55 am

12:45 hahahaha, delete account, yeah, right.
That "delete account" button, at best, just toggles a field called "accountDeleted" in the database, all your info is still there, your account is not deleted.

  34. Evan Rowley on October 20, 2021 at 10:03 am

Might just be confirmation bias but I pretty much agree with every attitude expressed here towards current events

  35. joe bloggs on October 20, 2021 at 10:04 am

    37:00. was that a glitch in the (youtube)matrix ???

  36. Jeff Harwood on October 20, 2021 at 10:05 am

Have you noticed that our enemies exploit BGP and DNS to drop the internet? Big Tech believes the answer to privacy is in the use of Algorithm’s, yet anyone with a Quantum and a superstack can foil this with advanced Shor’s formulas. Big tech isn’t so smart.

  37. Ticklewizard on October 20, 2021 at 10:07 am

Take Two good will? Sarkasm? They have litteraly spat on gamers for the last years. GTA 5 microtransactions, suing mod servers for Gta 5, not doing ANYTHING against cheaters and griefers in GTA 5. Microtransactions and gold payout in Red Dead Online, Nba 2k20 myteam trailer.

  38. Dale Machine on October 20, 2021 at 10:08 am

we really need better linux support before the gaming world dies to microsoft

Climate deniers suck. How hard is it to understand that mankind’s pollution is screwing up the sun, and that the sun is then causing all the planets to change in unison. Stupid climate deniers.

  45. Xion Eternum on October 20, 2021 at 10:17 am

In regards to the GTA story at the start:
I’m an advocate for; My computer = my data. I can copy, alter, add, and remove any of it as I please. Licensed data falls under those same terms with the exception that any original licensed data does not get distributed. Mods fall under "additional" data, and should not be in violation of any sort of copyright unless the mod data itself contains original licensed copyrighted data. This would require being able to prove that it does. Now here’s the Catch-22: These mods enhance the original works for existing owners and they do it for free, but this directly infringes on the market of the copyright owner selling their own enhanced versions of the same product. Then and only then do they have a case – HOWEVER – these free works were already in the market and at least have a CC-BY-NC license. This means that the sale of these enhanced versions of the games could directly infringe on the mods’ licensing. This is something that would need to go to court to establish precedence. Until then, the law is open to interpretation. The cease and desist has flimsy legal standing.

  46. Gregory Myres on October 20, 2021 at 10:17 am

The problem with the South Korea Netflix issue is that other companies already pay a “bandwidth” tax. It’s stupid but there’s precedent
