In this video I go over how to sell your domain names at GoDaddy. I am a member of the Domain name auction club so I do get some perks.

When you sell your domain name you can list it as an offer/counter offer, a buy it now, a 7-day auction or a set price.

If you have a lot of domains to sell, you can upload and edit multiple domain names to sell in bulk at one time.

Be Careful with GoDaddy though, the are the kings of upsells. Make sure that you uncheck the premium marketplace listing and frontpage domain name category, unless you want those extras.

Hi Mike, thanks for making this informative video. One question, in your opinion what’s the best way to sell your domains? Offer/counter offer, offer/counter offer with buy it now, buy now only, 7 day auction? I listed my first domain as offer/counter with buy it now, but it wound up listing as 90 days. Not sure how I did that. GoDaddy customer service rep suggested delete that n do 7day auction but couldn’t give me a reason why. I asked pros n cons n they couldn’t answer me, which made me think of what you said about them upselling. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Mike, I found this video very informative and I really want to learn more about selling domains. I have a question though, it was my first time selling my domain name last week but I think I did a mistake 🙁 Long story short, I received an email that my domain name got its first offer and I opened to see and counter offer it a price of just a couple of dollars above the price that the bide that the first buyer put. Since it was my first time selling domain names and the customer support on GoDaddy sucks at explaining how these things go, I received an email saying congratulations that it has been sold bla bla… Does this mean that it got sold to the amount that I counter offered it and I am the seller?! I dont get these things.. Please tell me what should I do for next domain name that are about to be sold. Thanks in advance. Greetings from Skopje, Macedonia 🙂
