How To List A Domain For Sale at Sedo

In this video Im going to show you how to list a domain for sale in your Sedo account.

Go to Sedo.com and login, select My Sedo and then select Add Domains in the navigation bar. In option 1, add the domain or domain names that you want to list for sale separating the domain names with a comma or a space. Before you click to go to step 2 be sure to review our user agreement and guidelines then when you are happy with these check the box to agree. You can then move on to step 2.

In step 2 you will be asked, if you want to use our wizard, select No Thanks. For the sake of this video, I will show you how to add your price settings yourself. Now you can see the sales options page,

I talked in details about how to choose the right sales settings for your domain in the last video, giving examples of how they will show to potential buyers, the video is called What Sales Settings to Choose When Selling Domains – Buy Now Vs Make Offer, so you may want to check that out if you are unsure of what to use when selecting between Make Offer and Buy Now, or the minimum offer and price, that video may help you decide.

Please only enter amounts using numbers only, do not enter any decimal points or commas. Start by setting your price option, choose either Buy Now or Make Offer if you are selling domains or choose Not for sale if you are just parking the domain but not selling it. If you are listing as Make Offer then you can enter a Minimum offer which is the lowest amount you will accept offers on, A minimum offer is not required for Buy Now listings. In the Price column enter your asking price. If you are listing as Buy Now then that will become your fixed sales price and for Make Offer listings it will be the asking price. Choose a currency from Euro, GBP and USD. In the final column, select Domain if you are selling just the domain only, or select Project if the domain is being sold with a website attached to it.

Also if you are adding more than 1 domain you can edit multiply domains at once if you select the edit pen in the blue tab next to the required column, input the amount, then select the domains you want to make the changes to, or alternatively by clicking the check box in the blue banner, this will apply the change to all the domains in that column, Select the green tick to apply any changes. Once you are happy, Select the green box ‘Go to step 3’

Step 3 is about activating MLS Premium, you can skip this for now, you can activate this later on in your account. Just select ‘Finish Adding Domains’. For more information on MLS check our video called What is SedoMLS and how to activate MLS Premium.

You will then see the message saying ‘your domains are currently being reviewed the domains will not show as for sale in your Sedo account until you verify them.
