How to Alphabetize in Microsoft Word

How to Alphabetize in Microsoft Word

Learn how to sort lists in Microsoft Word, either by text, number, or date, in this short tutorial video. In this video, I use Office 365; however, sorting has been around for a while and it should work in older versions of Word as well.

If you want to practice sorting, you can find the sample data here: https://1drv.ms/w/s!AmxrofZZlZ-wg_9V4ZTxO_UiLlZC-w

Happy sorting!

As full disclosure, I work at Microsoft as a full-time employee.

    Thanks @Kevin.

If you have a list and each line is 4 to 5 words, is there a way to quickly sort each line in alphabetically order?

Here I found someone having the same issue, but I don’t understand the answer.
