Determine domain and range and if a relation is a function

Determine domain and range and if a relation is a function

Learn how to determine the domain and range of a function from a set of points. The domain of a function is the set of all x-values and the range of a function is the set of all y-values. Therefore with coordinate points the x values are the first number and the y-values are the second number. The set of the x values is the domain and the set of the y-values is the range.

So your domain needs range in order for it to function, without domain and/or range, it won’t function. Correct?
