    You forgot three other methods; in total there are five for an on-prem-domain:
    sAMAccountName(AKA alias)
    FQDNsAMAccountName
    NetBIOSsAMAccountName
    sAMAccountName@FQDN(AKA userPrincipalName)
    sAMAccountName@NetBIOS
    email(with ADFS, whether it matches UPN or not)

    With ADFS and/or Azure/etc it gets pretty complicated real fast. 😔
