Are .com domains better? .Com VS .Net VS .Org VS .Info

Does .com Matter? Domain registrar lookup and why I use mostly .com domains. It is important to select the right domain name, but why should you pick a .com extension and not .net, .org, or .info? I’ll explain my experiences and why I think .com is so important.

    If I own thecoffeehouse.com, coffeehouse.net, and coffeehouse.org but coffeehouse.com is taken and not being used. Should I use the domain thecoffeehouse.com that has a .com extension or use coffeehouse.net or org that flows better and redirect thecoffeehouse.com to the .net or org? Which is best for searches and SEO?

    Great info. Thanks! I have the actual name of my nonprofit .net but we do human service work (.org is taken and .com is for sell for $2700). Do you think that’s fine for my type of organization or should I do a variation of the name, like using an initial? .co is also available. I hadn’t considered .co until you mentioned it.
