There are tons of Google Chrome extensions out there, but everyone knows about the most popular ones. Instead, I went through the Chrome Web Store and found a bunch of Google Chrome extensions that weren’t so well known, and all had less than 1000 ratings. Even though these aren’t super well known, they are all really cool and useful too.

Thank you ThioJoe and keep up the good work. Perplexed how Youtube algorithms do not keep of videos I’ve already watched as they keep poping to top of my rotation. Would be easier to explain why they cut off funding (ad revenue?) to sites discussing guns making them seek funding like PBS / NPR.

This and your other 2 videos with lists of Chrome extensions are quite helpful. Thanks for sharing! I also like the Mercury Reader extension, which removes ads and other distracting content from a website, leaving just the clean core of the website to be read.

Hi Thio Joe I’ve just started using my laptop again after about 2/3 yrs I’m knot very tech savy. I seemed to just have been using my mobile for everything over that time…anyways i use chrome all the time on my phone so I’ve got the laptop back out on Windows 10 home I’ve done all the updates and long story short when i was using it I used my email & password to sign in. And also the same email username as my mobile but for some reason i used a different password for the laptop i want to keep on using the same email username so how do i change the password that I used for the laptop & sync with my mobile. Thank you 👌

The Great Suspender is a great one from Google Chrome. It puts websites you’re not using to sleep
The best extension I ever got for chrome was AdBlock Plus.
Now I don’t have to watch shitty YT adverts…or deal with any sort of adverts for that matter

no images/thumbnails on youtube. Same for any scripts like commenting playlists desc – etc. I can play videos and browse all normal links. When it comes to drop down menus or "read more…" buttons it’ll fail. please help!!
